The remix

Collar and Peplums are going to get even bigger next season, the new Top and Tails as vogue has described them.  Like every 'new' trend it isn't new but more rekindled with a modern twist. It is always good to get inspired by past eras and with the Peplum I will be using the 1940s. One of my favorite fashion decades but even more so as it has filled me with ideas how to wear my tails.

Saucy chips

From the cutesy costumes Lea Michele wears in Glee to utter sex bomb.

I am loving the transition at the SAG awards earlier this week.

Although her GQ shoot in 2010 left little to the imagenation!

Best Sellers

Jackie Kennedy is my inspiration for my spring/summer wardrobe.
I love her neat cut dresses, her little gloves and handbags and of course the cat eye sunglasses.
I am on the look out for 1960s cut clothes and I shall be attempting to make some of my own.
I love that she always stood out against the black suited men.

Jackie K you are fabulous.

Here is more homage to Jackie on my Tumbrl

Yellow Diamonds in the Sky

Tartan Nation

If like me you have only the energy to leave your bed to watch X factor on most Sundays you will have seen Rhianna jumping around the stage. And her amazing outfit. I loved the tartan and think it is a cool alternative to this years black sparkly Christmas party get up!

I believe she wore this dress by Alexandra McQueen which comes at the reasonable price of £470. I do love anything McQueen so I may be a tiny bit biased.

I love this Carven dress which is a little different from most that I have  seen. This dress, however, will set you back £550.

If these are out of you price range, they are certainly out of mine. Here are some high street bargains for you.

 People Tree £54
Zara £59.99
